I have here an EG YAK 55 SP converted to Turboprop power using a WREN 44TP. This excellent power plant supplies a perfect power match for this plane enabling vertical takeoff and all sorts of vertical maneuvers and the plane is amazingly quiet as well. It takes off and lands super easy as the wing loading is nice and low. I modified the canopy to be more streamlined and of course the motor mount is fabricated to support the TP which for a Wren is just a circular bore with 6 screws. I covered part of the LE of both wings with alu tape to dissipate the heat from the tp's exhaust as you can see in the videos. Also I had Tam from TamJets fabricate straight exhaust tubes so the hot exhaust gets a chance to mix with the airstream before it flows across the wing!

The plane currently uses a Futaba rx, if you don't want that brand, just deduct $100 from the price, the plane can be flown with any current radio system it has the following set up, elev=2 servos, rudder = 1 servo, ailerons=2 servos, turbine just needs 1 channel ( no servo). and the Gyro needs 1 channel too. The time on this TP is: 714 mins or 11.9 hours. I consider the mounting method for the Wren design to be superior to all other TP's out there. In this case all I had to do was bore out the existing gas engine firewall and add 6 blind nuts for the required screws. This also put the TP in the correct right thrust angle !!!!

I can take any additional pictures that you want, just ask what you want to see
The wren case is green, I use kerosene K1 with 32 oz of oil either jetcat or kingtech oil mixed in with 5 gallons of kero. the video here has some good flying in it..enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRqnSgK1-uc&t=558s
I do not believe there is any warranty time left on this engine. They rate it as 25 hours between bearing changes. Every Wren I ever had way exceeded this figure before I ever heard any bearing rumbling during cooldown which is typically when it is noticeable. Also whenever I'm flying this plane I always reduce throttle setting on any downline to avoid overspeeding the airframe.. this TP produces quite lively speed and flying with this plane.

Yes will do soon, I am using a T14SG but this model only needs
the following channels:1-throttle, 2=elev. 2=ail, 1=rudder, 1-gyro mode so 8 ch total. It Is very easy to program.. so if I sent you my current setup you could easily input this into your 18...
No damage at all, and shipping would be any carrier of your choice
