There are some things in this world that you can look at and know what they were designed for. You can look at a Ferrari and you know it was made for going fast, you can look at M1 Abrams tank and you know it designed to deliver some serious hurt, and one look at the new JR X9303 2.4 radio and you will instantly know that this radio was designed to give you complete and total control of your RC airplanes. The JR XP9303 radio has been out on the market for awhile now and has established itself as one of the best 9 channel radios on the market. JR has taken the proven XP9303 PPM/PCM radio and updated it with 2.4 Ghz Spread Spectrum technology in order to deliver a new radio system that will lead the way for quite some time to come. JR has taken the proven X9303 2.4 radio and updated it with 2.4 Ghz Spread Spectrum technology in order to deliver a new radio system that will lead the way for quite some time to come. JR seems to have found a way of making the best even better! Previous users of the JR X9303 2.4 radio will be instantly familiar with the programming of the new X9303 as the programming is the same on both radios. Yet, new users will find that the well designed system programming is easy to learn and use. Even without the manual it's easy to navigate the system menus and perform quite a bit of the programming available, and after a little time with the manual you'll be able to completely access and utilize all of the robust features of this top of the line radio. In fact, owners of the X9303 2.4 radios will be able to transfer their model's programming data directly from their old radio to the new X9303 2.4 transmitter.

Spread Spectrum Technology This is the name of the newest technology to hit the RC world, and if you haven't heard this term yet it's a pretty safe bet that you will hear it soon. I would venture to say that this new technology will revolutionize our radios in the next few short years. I can say that because of the simple fact that this new technology will do away with frequency conflicts completely. Yes, you heard me correctly: no more getting shot down, no more interference glitches, and no more waiting for the frequency pin in order to fly. I'll talk about the specifics a little later on, but for now I'll sum it up with this new technology will change the way we fly our planes. Not only are frequency conflicts completely eliminated with this new system, but with DSM 2 Model Match Technology it will make it impossible for you to accidentally try to fly your plane with the incorrect model selected in the radio. Getting the new JR radio in my hands is more than just seeing the new Spread Spectrum technology up close. It also means moving up to one of the most modern computer radio systems on the market. I have several older computer radios from another manufacturer, and the capabilities of my radios shows as being a bit behind the times. With the X9303 2.4 radio being one of the most modern radios available on the market I was indeed getting the chance to see the best that's available today. As I get started with this review I do want to note that this is one of the first X9303 radios to be touched by human hands outside of JR and Horizon Hobby.
• Easy to use controls for computer functions • Easy to read LCD display • The radio just feels right in your hands • Cool Factor!! • Several flight timers
