Kingtech K170 Propane Start, READ THIS ENTIRE AD!!
Everything needed to run, including spare flight pack, I would get a new one for installation in plane I am including a video of a startup and run of the engine taken this morning, as well as me spinning it,, Just as it is right now, Always ran with Fod screen
There are a few things I need to tell you about the engine,, -It starts runs accelerates fine, but after my last few flights I started hearing some noise, when cooling you can hear it, and when spinning the engine by hand you can hear it, it sounds like a bearing getting loud, and may need replaced. It does not make this noise all the time though. The engine spins and runs but I believe it needs to have bearing replaced, THATS WHY I AM SELLING IT CHEAP.
-The Ecu has a blue cat 5 extension cable in it , it has a little CA to hold the cable in. I put that cable in because the Ecu was located in a hard to reach spot in my jet, it works perfect and causes no problem, GSU plugs right into the cable. I didnt want to pull it out dont want to take a chance of damaging the cable or ECU, so I am leaving it in there
-The propane start valve is included, and works, but seems like it does not flow enough for quick starts, I have not been using it,since I have had the engine, I have a used a quick connect fitting and check valve, went from my starting tank straight to the engine.
The engine has been a great engine for me, very fast response and rev, and tremendous power. Always ran with a FOD screen, no damage or nicks on inlet wheel. I was going to send it to Dirk to be checked out, and then put it in my new lightning, but I got a good deal on a New 200class engine, and dont really want to spend any money on it right now. the turbine has 16.4 hours on it and I believe it needs to be sent in and have the bearings checked out As a used engine, I can only guarantee that it is what I am telling you, It is a complete, strong, running engine. I am selling it with no guarantee. I am selling it for 1000 paypal shipped to your door. No,, I will not take less, don't waste my time or yours, PMs or emails firstname.lastname@example.org will get to me quicker

I took a look at your clip. Nice running turbine. Yes, it needs a bearing change. The temp was a bit on the HIGH side. That is usually caused by bearings. No big deal though. I think my friend will be interested. i will call him ASAP. Finally someone shares good info.

Im certain its just a bearing making some noise. A 25hr service cost about 300 dollars, they clean the turbine, injectors etc, rebalance and reset the timer, basically new. I just bought a merlin 200xbl. I was listing this cheap to recover some of that money, figuring someone would scoop this up, spend the 300 for service and end up with a new turbine cranking out 37+ lbs thrust for under 1400 dollars. If it dont sell, I will send it in for service and then list it again but for 1700, thats what it would be worth.
