    Item Description:

    Hi,

I have a partial Turbine Starfire, built and painted by a renowned modeler from Texas. I managed to roto-till her on a landing, but only the wings and nose strut were damaged. I'm selling this as a 'project' for the right builder who wants a turbine Starfire, but doesn't want to pay for a RTF one and doesn't want to start from the beginning. If you know how to build, you could get the wings built in a weekend, glassed in another and installed in a third.

I've cannibalized the original wings for other stuff, but I bought a new wing kit before YA went away.

    Includes:

RTF fuselage with Hitec digitals on the rudder and stabs (one digital wing servo on each elevator with the servos flush-mounted into the stab).

    All pneumatics plumbed.
Y/A 68-oz plastic conformal fuel cells.
    UAT
    Plug-in wing receptacles.
New wing kit with plug-in spars.
Installed Jet-Tech dual-wall pipe (which are WAY better than Tam's if you're not familiar).
Air cylinder on nose door with BVM trigger valve

As everyone knows, the Starfire is one of the best all-around jets ever. Yellow's improvement on the wing makes her land slower and she still can do 199.9 mph all day long.

    Hi,

Yes, it's the complete wing set as it came in kit. Sheeted wings, LE capped, retract rails and spar installed, servo cutouts, etc. I'll shoot a pic and upload it to the ad. Thanks.

Yeah Shaun, got the update. One other question, was there a turbine previous installed? If so, what model? Are there predrilled holes for previous installed turbine? Looking to go turbine, first time. Don't mean to be a nusense but can I see a picture of both hatchs removed. Appreciate you accomodation.

    Hi,

Yep, it had a KT K-80 in it. It's only got one hatch plus the canopy. Is that what you mean?

Yes to one part of the question asked. I would like the see the inside of both areas, front hatch and engine hatch. This will tell me, to some degree, what has been done and what's left to do. Are the fuel tanks installed. As I said earlier, this would be my first turbine so I need to see as much as possible should I decide to buy and make the drive.

    Hi

I emailed some pics this morning. Did you get them?

    1. Fuel tanks are insralled, as is the UAT, but I'd go in and replace the tubing. Tanks are easy to pull out.

    2. Front nose door has a hinge that needs replacing, but it comes with the hinges.

    3. All servo extensions (22 GA HD) are routed.
    4. Air tubing and serco leads to wings also in place.

Basically, if I had finished wings, the plane would be ready to fly by the end of the day.
