Wren 180 turbine S/N 007. I had this in a Boomerang XLII and it made that plane perform extremely well. Even with full fuel and smoke tanks,I could takeoff and go straight up, accelerating all the way. See videos here, all had that engine... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQG_alz09-Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E67hiN7EFcA&t=106s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6zYPU7XB5w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UGxVk6VlDw&t=474s After the first flight I reduced the top rpm by 2000 so as not to overspeed the airframe, even with this I could still takeoff and go vertical even with full tanks. Every time I started this turbine I noticed excessive heat readings during the middle of the startup and they stayed quite high until the turbine display reads running, then the temps returned to normal. So I returned the turbine to Wren UK for evaluation and they repaired it properly ( see scan of the warranty slip in the pictures section.) In the meantime I sold the Boomerang and now have no home for this turbine. It has 4.15 hours on it with 52 run cycles. ( see pictures) It comes with all literature and normal parts ( pump, ecu, display, solenoids and manuals, It has a unique and very compact built in FOD screen that is a feature of new series wren turbines.
I did test this Turbine to confirm the repair, video here ( Wren did fix it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qePhk0fr7xU
