    Item Description:

    Hi,

I have a 3/4 finished Spit for sale. Includes:

    Kit
Installed DLE 55 RE (bench run only to test onboard-starter)
    Installed EME Auto-Start
    Spring-Air giant-scale Spitfire mains
    Robart Spitfire struts
    Y/A scale wheels with tires
    BD/Yellow tail retract
2x Yellow A/C mini door cylinders for the tail doors
Yellow A/C scale spinner, cut and bolted for Xoar 22x10
Top Flite main gear doors (which are fiberglass, 3-D and a perfect fit)

The wings are expertly built, reinforced internally, glassed and primed by Yours Truly. The tail feathers are built up and covered in Solartex. That can easily be peeled off and recovered if the light blue doesn't work for you. I had planned on a Seafire scheme and was going to put white paint over the blue Solartex.

The engine firewall was modified to accept this engine so the hard part is done.

When I say the wings are 'expertly' built, I just mean that when you put the ailerons onto the wings, the gaps disappear and look like panel lines, plus if you pinch the aileron tip together with the wing tip, the aileron root tip lines up perfectly. I don't know about you, but that's a HUGE peeve when buying stuff built by others....

Anyway, I'm sure someone is jonesing for a Spit after watching the movie, Dunkirk, right?

How much of the motor sticks out of the bottom of the cowl? Have you already made the cutout? If so, please post a pic of the bottom cowl mounted.

    Hi,

I suppose, but the nose is now 'customized' for this engine. The firewall is modified and the cowl cut for it.

    Hi,

I'd have to check but I imagine it would be pretty spendy with the 88" wing already built.
