No longer flying very much. Reducing size of airforce.
Willing to Trade:
This Ace Big Bingo has been sitting in my hangar for a couple of years, and it looks like I'm never going to get around to finishing it. I stripped the covering from it in order to recover it, but health issues have intervened. So I'm going to sell it.
If you aren't familiar with this ACE design, it looks like a very large Sig Four Star, but is much more robust. The photo I've included is of a completed Big Bingo. The one I'm selling is in the bones; i.e., it has been stripped of the covering except for the tail fin. The landing gear is still installed as is the tail wheel, the ailerons, elevator, rudder and canopy. There is no engine in the airplane at the moment; you provide the engine and the fuel tank. This airplane has a two piece wing and the wingspan is 85. Covered it will weigh in the 21 lb. range, so would be perfect for a Quadra 42 or greater. It previously had a gas engine in it, but it is clean and not gasoline soaked.
This is a classic ACE giant airframe, and its in very good condition. It would not take much to get it in the air. If you like big airplanes, you are going to love the Big Bingo. I can't ship it economically, so if you like it, pick it up in the western burbs of Chicago and take a look at some others I'm selling. I accept Paypal. $70
