I have this P-40 I bought from Jim Ellis in Guthrie. Jim meticulously finished the built and it is rock solid. Tex Hill Flying Tiger scheme with great weathering.
Sierra Gear that is solid and all lines and valves are perfect. Retracts tailwheel as well. Futaba sevos. Split flaps. Sliding Canopy. It is a fully detailed cockpit with full pilot. Just beautiful. It runs a DA-85 with a custom pitts style muffler. and it flat out goes. Clocked at 135+MPH and with the large wing it is docile in slow flight as well. Two-blade spinner and Prop 26x12. Also have a three-blade spinner for it.
I have flown it about 10 times and got it dialed in to the way I like it.
Great carrying stand comes with it for secure transportation.
I bought it with the intention of being able to fly it more, but I haven't been able to fly as much and it is quite large compared to some other things I have.
Jim offered it to me generously at $1800. So I am going to sell it for $1800. The gear and engine/muffler alone run $1400. Probably too big to ship.

Real integrity there Austin - Advertise you will ship it - I agree to ask price plus shipping - you say you will think it over and let me know - and sell it without contacting me. Too bad your weren't raised better.
