1/6 scale A-10 plugs. 10 ft wingspan. Plugs are sprayed with hi build duratec primer and are in various stages of completion. If any of you know the level of detail i put into my 1/9 scale cgrcjets A-10 then you will know the level of detail these plugs will have and multiply that. I spent 3 months 3d printing these plugs and around $1500 alone in printing material, $4000 for just the basic CAD modeling of the airframe and countless hrs of my own CAD modeling for printing and just about every detailed piece you can imagine on the A-10. If finished out correctly these plugs will produce a kit that even exceeds the current mibo version that is out right now. Latches and detail are printed in the plug with alot of the latch areas recessed for a more realistic look over being scribed in. Only thing left on these plugs for the airframe is the main part of the wings. All flaps and wingtips are printed. I still have all the CAD modeling for all these components and would be willing to work something out with the buyer even if they needed those pieces printed. My regular day job has not allowed the time for me to finish this project so i thought i would pass it off to another A-10 fanatic. I will be honest, its alot of work, but with someone that has the experience and is a major A-10 critic it will be well worth it. The pictures are probably not the best but you can contact me if you need more. The first two pictures are of my completed 1/9 scale to show how the 1/6 scale would look.
