    Item Description:

I bought this engine about 2 months ago, it was new from tower hobbies, I removed this engine from the box, and before anything I installed a bowman ring (now BJORN BAAL) , did the reed block mod (smoothing and flattening so
the reeds and gaskets get a perfect seal). I then mounted it on my Hangar 9 .60
corsair 'test plane. I have about 6 tanks of fuel through it now. It starts
up extremely easy, cold starts are choke on, 2-3 flips, choke of, 2-3 flips and
she is running. Rock solid Idle, and a good transition to full RPM. Restarting
the engine I do with the 1st flip. No starter required. I was running this engine with a Master
Airscrew 15x7x3 blade prop and getting 8200-8300 RPMS on the ground, you can
really hear it unload in the air. The 3 blade spools up a little slower than a
2 blade. From what I read the best two blade prop for this engine is a xoar 17x6.
I am selling the engine just as you see it, it needs NOTHING, put it in and go
fly, It is a very strong engine, and will only get stronger as it all seats in. I run STIHL
ULTRA HP oil , with a NGK CM6 spark plug. THE engine runs
fantastic, and if you are in need of a dle-20 RA, this one already has the mods
done to it for more reliable power, and will save you money and is actually better than a new one. I will also throw in another Bowman Ring, as I bought two of them planning on running a pair of these in my ESM B25, but changed my mind and am putting in 4 strokes to get the sound I am after.
Any questions feel free to ask, emails get to me quicker
I will get some pix of it when I get home it is still currently in my corsair.
