I bought this plane shortly after it flew in the 2005 Joe Nall, but due to a major life change, got out of R/C and never flew it. Now that I’m moving, it’s time to part with it.
Willing to Trade:
This is a gorgeous, well-built example of one of the highest quality giant scale aerobatic aircraft in existence. It was built by an expert builder and flew at Joe Nall in 2005.
All composite construction: fiberglass fuselage; fiberglass vacuum-sandwich wings & stab, and carbon spars & landing gear. Color is yellow with JR red/silver/black trim.
Some of the photos make it look like there are two shades of yellow. There aren’t. It’s all one color that looks different depending on the angle. My iPhone camera doesn’t do it justice. The simulated cockpit is a nice extra touch. It’s just paper so doesn’t add weight but the 3D effect is remarkably realistic.
The plane is in excellent condition as you can see from the photos. A couple of very minor blemishes (trailing edge of the rudder; one wheel pant; and one of the hatch hold-down slots) that I’ve shown in the photos. If there’s anything you can’t see here, I’m happy to send more photos or video. If you’re OK with what you see in the photos, you’ll be happy with the airplane.
Comes with protective covers for all flight surfaces: a Hobby Pak double wing bag for the wings, plus foam/mylar protective covers for the stab and fin/rudder.
The plane is completely set up and ready to fly, less batteries, receivers, and the M6 plastic nuts that fasten the wing to the fuselage (which I’ll include if I’m able to find them).
I'm sorry but this is local pickup only, unless you can arrange & pay for crating & shipping.
