We have a brand new, easy to use RCU Marketplace
Come take a look. On April 5, 2018, once all existing listings have expired, the old marketplace will close for good. In the meantime, feel free to browse what is for sale here, but please make any new for-sale or trade listing in the new Marketplace!
Perfect 3w 275 Competition twin spark, low hours, runs great, a red-headed devil beast. I have mufflers but the pipes were cut short (don’t ask). Priced to sell mostly because I want to buy new stuff and my wife won’t let me spend any more money.
"But it’s already snowing in Montana and it’s building season!" I plead, my whiny inner child shamelessly showing. "Another . . .airplane??" she blurts (I sense she almost said "toy airplane", but even she knows better than that.
"Well then, SELL something" she sneers, her lip curling in a churlish grin. I feel the hot rage welling up in me but deep inside, I fear she is right. God, why must she always be right?
Broken, I search through the dozens of ducted fan parts from all the foamy jets I have crashed through the years, tiny props and electric motors. What can I sell to feed this airplane monster so that I may once again worship at the altar of my workbench? What will I do if I have no winter project? Will I have to actually talk to my wife and spend time with my family?!?
And then I see it: my dormant 275, previously destined for a bipe that long ago fell victim to my short attention span.
And so, dear friends, it is now on the block in a desperate attempt to avoid "family time", shopping for new drapes ("why don’t you sell the old ones?" I mock), shoveling the snow, etc., etc., the myriad of banal chores assigned to the modern house warrior.
Won’t you lend a hand and save me from this fate?
Paypal preferred but can process credit cards through my office if that makes the decision any easier. You know you want it . . .
