Hi - Just an FYI I looked up for a Byron T-6 I'm rebuilding for my brother.
The Midwest T-6 is am 83" ws 10-15lb plane with a .90-1.20 engine requirement. The Robart #620 retracts listed for the plane look like 7/16" struts at an angular length (not straight on) measurement of 5 7/16"
The larger Byron T-6 is a 101" 26lb plane flown on a G-62 typically, and the Robart gear recommended are a larger model #161 with 7" struts of 5/8" diameter.
Those are the stats, good luck.
