It was modified by Ralph Cunningham of RCIgnition. He replaced the stock magneto ignition with his own design electronic ignition, Lightened the engine by removing the flywheel/prop hub with a machined prop adapter. As well, a new carb block to better throttle linkage alignment.
Excellent compression, and with the 2-ringed piston, this engine will last a looooong time on regular flying.
Comes with a Bisson large volume wrap-around muffler, the two down pipes have been replaced with thick wall pipes, and spot welded to the muffler body. It is very efficient and quiet, compared to the stock muffler.
Great engine, has about 2 gallons of 32:1 Sthl full synthetic fuel through it, still needs some more running in but it is running excellently now.
It still sells for over 400 dollars with the stock muffler, but I no longer fly large scales planes, might as well sell it to someone who could use a good engine. Asking $300, Will ship world-wife, buyer pays actual postage.
