UPDATE!!! I am reposting this Airframe for sale. To long of a story, but I was off RCU during my holiday vacation. My apologies if I did not get back to any original bidders. I was able to box up the plane and the dimensions are 63x24x14 and weighs approximately 35# My zip code is 15236, so if you need a shipping cost, you can calculate the price from that to your location.
HISTORY: Here is the story of my Velox. I bought it second hand from a friend of mine.i do not know hw he acquired it. It was the Blue/xyellow scheme from the factory. I flew it for many years with an AMT Mercury. It had a few bumps and bruises and scrapes along the way, but always flew nice. 2 years ago, I decided to try my hand in painting as my local painter is retiring. I sanded most of the paint off and did my first paint job (All PPG paint) vinyl lettering for the nomenclature. So the paint job is good, but not perfect ( the clear still could be cut and buffed in places) since it was going to be my backup aircraft, I wasn’t to concerned. After the repaint, I put my Cheetah in it, what a Rocket! As stated in the Ad, I had an issues at KY Jets (another aircraft pulled in front of me when I was on roll out after landing and the nose gear mount was broken rearward and the paint didn’t flex well and it has some cracks, but the Glass was still good.
For Sale is a airframe, fuel tanks (factory center tank, 2-12oz saddle tanks and my own style Header) Robert 630 mains, the smaller Robart nose(still strong, just smaller) Prolink struts, and Inairco wheels brakes. (Mains could use bearings. There are no servos, servo extensions. Airlines are still installed. I call the plane a 6-7 out of 10. More pictures can be emailed
