    Item Description:

The Kolibri is the world's smallest production turbine engine. It provides 23N (5+ lbs) of thrust, and is made with the tightest tolerances and specifications in the industry.

The Kolibri is perfect for aircraft ranging from the Multi-Plex FunJet, to the E-Flite BAE Hawk, to the Nitro Planes BobCat/Falcon 25, to many, many more. It comes in two models 1) Air-start and 2) Auto-start. The prices are $3200 for the Air-Start (includes all import duties and taxes in to U.S. You will be responsible for any export duties to any country outside of U.S.), and $3700 for the Auto-Start.

These prices are cash prices. Please add 3% for other forms of payment.

    Technical Specifications:
    Thrust: 23N (5+ lbs) at 243,000 RPM

This engine is a precision piece of equipment. It truly is the Rolex of turbine engines. While the engines may seem pricey compared to it's big brothers, the cost of the aircraft to put them in is miniscule. You can have a plane ready for this engine for under $200...Including servos!

If you already have a larger turbine/plane set-up, this engine makes a great power plant for that high-speed, low stress plane when you just want to have fun.

Beginner or expert, the Lambert Kolibri turbine has something to offer.

Also, available are thrust tubes ($150) for centrally or internally mounting the engine, as well as custom molded fuel tanks ($150) for drop-in installation in the Multiplex FunJet.

These engines carry a 3 year warranty, and have 20 hour service intervals.

They are expensive, there's no doubt about it. But there is nothing more amazing than to see a running turbine smaller than a can of coke!

You are absolutely correct! They now produce 5+ pounds of thrust. You can still order them in the 3 lbs. flavor, but I am only importing the 5 lbs model.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Not really sure what you mean by "what the self start one goes by." There is the air-start and auto-start.

Unfortunately there are no used ones for sale. Once people buy one of these, they don't sell them.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
