1. Second "D". First was a glow powered Nitro "D". Removed piston engine and converted to turbine. Very successful, needed better LG. That is why the ProLinks are in this one. 3" mains for rough fields.
2, Wren 54MIII with 2" tail pipe extension to move engine forward as far as practical. Engine bay coated with hi temp BVM. Have seen a heavier "D" fly very well on a P-60.
3. Yes, nose gear is moved to scale location. Intake is more scale and rounded that stock
4, Nose hatch and floor provided much needed access for redundant batteries and power distribution, 8 channel Futaba. No ballast was required.
5, Wings are removable but not the tail, makes shipping difficult, would discuss possible shipping.
