Item Description:
This Bergen Observer is absolutely ready to go. As is, the heli flies nice and the gimbaled system operates smoothly. All you need to do is to mount your camera and picture-taking remote control. The pitch and throttle curves are set, governor and gyro are tested, optimized and ready to go.
Because everything is there.
This workhorse has been in the hands of Raja Bortcosh, a leading expert on gassers, who has gotten it ready, pumping two gallons through while breaking in the engine, optimizing governor settings, and dialing in the heli.
I bought this helicopter on eBay a few years ago. I had an aerial services company on the side and it was to be my backup helicopter. It sat in my hobby room and Raja Bortkosh got it all going. I have gotten out of this business and fly for fun. I may give it a go when I retire. For now I want to recoup my investment… so does my wife. (grin)
