These can be used as a remote switch to turn on/off a RC Airplane Gasoline engine ignition system. They can also be used to power lighting systems. They Rcexl Optical Kill Switch V2 uses a separate battery for power when not using a separate bec. The Rcexl Optical Kill Switch V2 does not use power from the receiver and this has no bec so the voltage going in from the accessory battery is the same voltage going to the item you want to turn on and off. The accessory battery can be up to 20 volt and 16 amp output for lighting or other devices.
This unit has no bec.
