    Yes this Tachometer will work with the RCEXL ignition that comes with the Saito FG 21.

    I do not know for sure if the FG36 will work with tachometer. I changed the connectors on my CH ignition and this style Tachometer worked. I called Horizon and spoke with the tech on the phone and he thinks it will work if the connectors are changed but it will void the warranty. I emailed Saito and have not received a response yet.
