This is a long out of production wood kit from Scientific Models (kit # 164-1895) . The model was designed by the famous Walter Musciano. Although the box is natty the contents are in good condition considering its age. The metal fittings are still in their bags. One small part, the fantail block, is missing. Another can simply be made from a tracing of the pre-carved hull's transom.The sail material with printed cut out lines is stained. This builds into a very nice display model of the famous Canadian Bluenose schooner with an overall length of 24|.
