Combat Gremlin (RTF)

For your consideration is my glow powered "Combat Gremlin".  The following description comes from RA Cores, the company currently manufacturing this kit in multiple forms.  Please visit their website for more information about this great plane!

"The Gremlin is a unique looking yet stable plane that flies like it is on rails with the correct CG. More importantly, it is a fun plane to just take out and blast holes in the sky. While not a beginner airplane, it can be flown by anyone who is comfortable with an aileron trainer. It is a great winter snow plane since it just gets tossed into the air and doesn't need a clear footstep free section of runway. It needs no setup beyond fueling and can be put back in the car with no need for disassembling. It's a great everyday plane: toss it in the car, get a few flights at lunchtime and then head back to work. The electric option opens many more fields due to the absence of noise without any sacrifice in performance. The Gremlin is even used in pylon racing events and has been used by clubs to familiarize pylon judges with calling for their course on setup days. It might not be the only plane you fly, but it will earn its place when you are packing the car to head to the field"

This plane is built using PVC gutter pipe for the fuselage and a (semi-?) Symmetrical 48" foam core wing.   For power, an O.S. engines 40 LA engine provides more than enough power, and for control, a JR R600 receiver on channel 42 drives two Tower Hobbies TS-53 servos on elevons and one GWS S3002 servo on throttle. Receiver/Servo. power is derived from a 600 MaH NiCad battery pack.   If for some reason you want this plane without the receiver, I would be willing to drop the price an additional $10.   I can personally attest to the fact that this plane flies like it is on rails, even in 15 -20 mph winds.  Launching is very simple; a standing, light, underhand toss is all that is required.

Please note that the PVC "starting stand" shown in the pictures is not included as part of this auction.   This stand was built from free plans found on the "RA Cores" website from about $10 worth of PVC pipe and elbows.  If you really want the stand, I'm sure we can work out a deal, but I won't be giving it away as I will need to build another one for my other combat planes!

There is no shipping on this plane.  Please see my "terms" below for other options.  Since I will have to meet somehow with the buyer, I am open to trades in lieu of cash.  I am looking for unbuilt full kits.  Let me know what you have any maybe we can work out a straight trade or a trade plus cash.

This plane is available for inspection and demo.  Please contact me to make arrangements.

 Shipping:   There is no shipping on this item. It is available for pickup in the Englishtown, or Colts Neck N.J. (flying field) areas at no charge.  I would be willing to meet the buyer at another reasonable location for round trip gas and toll expenses agreed to and paid for in advance. Contact me before you bid to get a quote!

 Payment: PayPal,  certified and bank checks are accepted. Cash is also accepted if you are meeting me at my home or flying field.  Unless previously agreed to, payment must be received within 3 days of accepting your offer.
