*****New EDIT: I am willing to sell this plane without engine for $75 less than asking price, with engine but no electronics included as an option for $75 less than asking price, or airframe only for $200 ****** This beauty is a newly recovered Sig Kadet Senior Arf; the original owner had experienced damage to the covering when in storage, I bought it to recover and enjoy teaching my boys to fly. They're grown and gone now, so I am giving up this sweet plane to someone who will be able to use it. It has the big 80 " wingspan and weighs 8.75 lbs. ready to fly; it has been modified in several ways-- it is converted to being a taildragger with extra sturdy new landing gear; a new firewall and larger fiberglass cowl have been installed to further a scale look; the wings are still the wonderful two piece design that makes transporting in my car a breeze, as is the custom developed system of removable tail feathers (just remove two nylon screws and you're ready to pack and go!). Has remote fuel fill, a powerful Thunder Tiger .61 engine with pitts muffler, 6 JR 537 servos, and all extension wires needed-- just add your receiver and battery pack and go! Flies beautifully just as you'd expect with the lofty reputation of this plane's design. For the price of purchasing an arf Kadet kit, you can own a one-of-a-kind version of this much-loved classic-- to teach your next generation fliers, or to just enjoy a tried and true great flying big plane that you can conveniently fit in your car!
I am willing to either meet someone halfway within 150 miles radius for cost of gas, or will ship via greyhound bus to the lower 48 states only for a fixed cost for careful packaging, shipping and insurance of $80. Be sure you have a greyhound station close enough to you; I have to drive 125 miles to get to the nearest one, so patience is needed for getting it shipped out with my work schedule-- I will be near there on Nov. 29, so would be able to ship it on that day.
