This is a very Nice Composite ARF 3.0 meter yak in a custom scheme (normally only available in 2.6 meter or the 3.3) The plane is in great condition. And flies great.
I have 2 Wing Tubes: Original Aluminum and Upgraded Lightweight Carbon Fiber
All the hardware has been upgraded from the stock CARF gear to hangar 9 pro links and ball links. Hardware used are 4-40 ball links and the servos are using 2 SWB arms.
It is setup with a brand new DA-170 that has 2.5 gallons through it on Dave's Pro Flow Canisters. The engine runs great and has wonderful mid range. The engine was from Desert Aircraft and has all the updates installed. Engine is running 40:1 REDLINE as per DA's instructions.
For Servos I'm using Hs-7950 latest version from hitec all the way around. The rudder is using the Secraft CNC servo tray with dual ball bearings and SWB Adjustable tensioners.
Throttle has HS-5625MG his speed digital servo
RX excel Optikill ignition kill unit.
All the servo have custom soldered extensions with nylon covering.
The tail has a Custom J&J tail wheel and it works great.
Plane is using a 5.5 Carbon Fiber Spinner along with a Mejx 30x13L evo prop (the best prop for the DA-170 on cans)
Comes with both aluminum and carbon fiber wing tube (Flown both, currently using the aluminum one)
For the power system we have a Smart Fly Power Explander with Fromeco Wolverine Switch on the mains.
Batteries are 2300mah Fromeco Wolverine A123 packs.
Ignition is using the Duralight 2600MAH 7.4 Lipo with built-in Balancer. Ignition switch is the MPI Switch with BUILT in 6.0 Regulator (this regulates the 7.4 volt lipo down to 6.0 to keep the DA ignition happy.
