Yes there is a actual weld to the area behind the prop back plate. Somebody did a good job but I don't know what reason it was welded there...It is not JB weld glue but an actual welding.

The motor was used when I got it ...could have been thru a lot of owners...no history on it...sorry The motor appears to be very old. The compression is very good ..I can't really turn this over by hand without a prop on it. The bearings feel ok from what I can tell but I don't really know the shape of the motor bearings without disassembly....but motor runs fine.

hi there, thanks for getting back to me, first, it's only a old 80, and it's missing the prop washer and double lock prop nuts. and with all due respect, it has been crashed before, and the repair looks terrible in the pictures! is that you bottom dollar? it needs a new case/ prop nut setup/ and who knows what else.....
thank you,
Gary
