Half Scale, Fokker D-8...Scratch built using GTM outlines. Airframe is 4130 chrome molly steel tube. All construction to full scale applications. Entire fuselage finished, Tail surfaces finished. 14 ft wood wing finished, stained and varnished as the full scale. Plywood covered. This D-8 was built by full scale drawings and by the use of WW-1 Aero magazine, and Achim Ingels web site. Most definetly one of a kind in the world. The build can be viewed on RCU, scale aircraft section, under 1/2 scale Fokker D-8. The model has not been covered, Originally I was going to install a ZDZ 160 but since decided it was too small. So the aircraft would need a DA 170, or a ZDZ 210. Radio will also need to be installed.
Wing comes with servo's installed and a custom built wing storage box. Also avalible is a 100% linen for covering the fuselage. Estimated finished flying weight at 110 lb. Entire airframe weighs around 65 lbs.
I will not even consider shipping. Although I am willing to deliver a reasonable distance or meet buyer for travel cost.
