Item Description:

I found this during a cellar clean out. It has been started as can be seen in pictures. One wing panel will need to have the main spars removed and re-positioned as the builder put them in the wrong place. One wing panel (not sure which one) also will need one spar removed as the builder used balsa instead of the spruce one. The spruce one is still in box. The kit is mostly complete w/plans but I did notice small pieces like the wing mounting blocks and screws not in the box. Some stick wood will need to be supplied. All major components are there. The box and some of the wood has gotten wet from the basement but should be usable. There is some blackening/mold on some of the wood but it should not be a problem. Most the wood is fine. Plans are serviceable but not the best. Hardware bag is there. All plastic pieces are there. Push rods are there also. Price reflects kit condition.

It's ok if it doesn't sell. I am a float flyer and can build it someday when I have time. Our club has use of a 88 acre pond with a huge beach and parking area all to ourselves. One of the nicest FF spots in the North East. It is in good enough condition to finish off that's for sure and is not far from that. Maybe I will give it away for raffle at our next float fly. I know that they're no longer made and if someone wanted the kit for cheap money they can have it and clean out my garage.

I have a bunch of Saito 65's that I've redone with new bearings as I build all the old 40-50sz warbirds and they are a great engine for them. Never thought about the Seamaster for one of them. I have a Marutaka Rufe to build for my next float plane when I get the time. Have many Jemco warbirds, Royal Jr kits, and even a Tettra (Japan, a lot like a Royal)Cessna 182 that will go on floats with an old OS 61 FS. So many kits and so little time!!!! LOL
