Item Description:
I had this on a GP stick 120 and it flew it fine. In seeking overall lighter weight I replaced it with a 26cc ignition engine. It is a used engine that was built by the guy on youtube that sells them. It ran well the last time I flew it. Easy to start and good power with the included 16x8 prop. Very easy to hand start.
Includes, prop, mount, enforcer muffler, velocity stack, and other conversion items.
The last time I took it to the field, it was hard to start, never had been before. I took the plug out and it had two pieces of a spring in it. I took it apart at home and found a long spring inside the crankcase. I took it out and cleaned up the cylinder and reoiled it. I have no ideal where the spring came from, it is not part of the engine and was way too big and long to have been injested by the engine.
I did not buy this engine from flyncrazy the guy on Youtube it was bought from another person here on RCU.
One of the cylinder tabs has jb-weld steel on it but seems fine otherwise. I have not cranked the engine since, and it is sold as-is. it turns over fine and has what seems to me normal compression. These engines are battle tanks and should provide many years of service. The spring was intact and hadn't been beaten to pieces. Just floating about on the bottom side of the crankshaft. bearing looked good with no noticsable slop or clicks. I wouldn't be afraid to fly it.
Conversion parts along are worth what I am asking for it. Thanks for looking.
