This combination using BVM's wheels and brake, coupled with the ProLink Struts is ideal for either Lightning (Classic or Ultra). The ProLink Struts won't break like the C-ARF trailing link struts either. These that I am selling have no damage history on them and it shows. Everything is nicely engineered with T6 aluminum (very nicely machined, very strong). Great combination!
I've put maybe 75 flights on this pair of wheels showing in my photographs. The rubber still has another 50-100 take-off and landings on them, but the treads are worn off. I'm also including a BRAND NEW, never been used pair of BVM tires, so you can swap them out anytime you wish. No need to install the BVM Rim Screws either (they don't need them).
All new is nearly double the price I'm asking. Check it out.
The bottom link of each strut has the anti-rotation pin already installed to match the BVM Brake Hub, so all of that modification work is done.
If you are already using Robart or ProLink Retracts, these ProLink struts will fit your 1/2 inch trunions. If you are UPGRADING from your original Behotec retracts, you will want to purchase a pair of trunion upgrades for 1/2 inch ProLink struts from Dreamworks for $62 (the pair). Well worth it!
This alone is a huge improvement over the sorry 8mm pin affair that bend and/or snap and break so easily. You could hog out the original Behotec Trunions to accept the 1/2 inch strut, but for $62, I wouldn't mess with the machining hassle, plus the new trunions are a harder T-6 material.
