Item Description:
Selling my Balsa USA Citabria Pro. I built her last winter and originally had a DLE 20 in her, but being a die hard glow guy, I swapped it out for a Thunder Tiger 1.30 four stroke. The engine has about 6 tanks of fuel through it and runs great! Plenty of power and idles like a clock. I put a right angle exhaust header on it so I could keep the muffler within the cowl.
Radio equipment consists of 2 Futaba S3004 servos on ailerons and 1 S3004 on throttle, 2 Futaba S3010 servos on elevator and rudder.
This plane flies very scale like, and by that I do not mean she is underpowered. I mean she maneuvers slow and graceful like the real thing. She takes off in less than 25 feet and slows down nice for landing. You definately want to coordinate rudder and aileron for turns. She will turn with aileron only, but even with aileron differential, exhibits a good amount of adverse yaw.
As far as condition goes, I listed her as used good because there are some imperfections. A few wrinkles in the coverite on the wingtips, a few runs in the paint, and a chip in the paint on top of the cowl at the center mounting screw. Still looks great in the air and from 10 feet away.
Local pickup only on this one. Can meet in the Norfolk VA area, but only if airplane is purchased first.
Will part out. Airframe only $300.00.
With Servos only $400.00
With engine only $500.00
