This plane was flown only once to check and confirm it's performances. It has operating formed aluminum flaps 13 1/2 long.
Engine is vertically (head down) mounted. Adapter at engine, transfers exhaust to the muffler, which is mounted on the bottom of plane belly - keeping plane's fuse and tail feathers clean from exhaust oils.
Engine cowl has air intake opening behind prop-wash for engine cooling air and on both sides of cowl and bottom for hot air to exit out.
Performance with those long flaps allows for very short take-off 's and extra slow flying approach to landings (check photo #6).
