I got this from someone who was "getting out of the hobby". Out of the five that I originally had, three have been sold. I am keeping one for myself, so this is absolutely the last one that will be sold. If you were "on the fence" before, you might want to consider hopping off before someone else grabs this one!
This plane, when built is huge! It will have a 66.5 inch wingspan and will be approximately 67 inches in length. I have no idea of what the target weight should be, but everything I've read on the net says to plan on something in the 60-90 2-cycle range, or of course the electric equivalent.
As you should be able to see from the photos, the plane is constructed of foam, something similar to high density cooler foam. The duct tape you see was used to keep the control surfaces attached for shipping, you will need to do your own hinges with either tape, covering material or real hinges. It is my understanding that there was no hatch cover supplied for the right side rear hatch, but it should be easy to make one out of scrap foam. There may be some dings in the foam. Those can be addressed with light spackle before you finish, either with low temp film or paint. The motor mount and throttle cable are pre-installed, the rest is up to you! There is no manual for this plane. Another member was kind enough to send me a document on what it takes to make the Mig ready to fly. I cannot attach it to this Ad., but hopefully I can mail it to anyone who is interested. You can also do a search here on RCU and find tons of info.
There is no delivery on this item. The foam parts are simply too big to fit into a box that will ship economically. See shipping terms (below) for some pickup options.
