Up for sale, is my Blitz Giant 3D Pitts. I personally assembled this plane with only a couple modifications. # 1: I didn't use the supplied foam glue!!! I used 30 minute and 5 minute epoxy, whichever was appropriate for the joint I was gluing.
This plane flies great! I am totally impressed with it. I have several biplanes.....Ultimate's, Double Vision, Stearman, and a Giant Pitts. This plane flies most similar to the double vision with very light wing loading. It has plenty of power with the 6s set-up and unlimited vertical performance. It performs all 3D maneuvers extremely well.....harriers, elevators, rolling harriers, etc.
There isn't a ton of info out there about this plane but there was some info referring to inadequate cooling. I agreed that the internal cooling was not sufficient so I completed modification # 2: I created 4 holes in the foam near the top of the firewall approximately 3/4 in diameter to allow cooling directly over the ESC and Battery. I also have 5 holes 3/4 in the bottom of the fuse to allow for exit air. I have never had a problem with a battery or electrical component over heating.
Flight times are very good. 8 minutes with a 4000mah pack. 10+ minutes with a 5000mah pack.
