What do you want without the motor, and will you ship if I send you a box with prepaid label via UPS.

    THANKS - RCLARRY

    RCLarry (& everyone else),

Without the motor, figure $90. Without the motor, receiver and battery, figure $70. If you insisted on a bare airframe (no servos), figure another $10 off. The servos are definitely worth more than that, but I am factoring the time to remove them and leave you with "routing" strings.

BTW, I would be including the firewall mount for the TT engine as it replaces the crankcase cover for the engine.

If any of this sounds good to you, let me know. It will probably take me until Monday to figure out what the box dimensions would be as my daughter is getting married this weekend, and that will demand my attention until then!

How did to wedding go, hope great. I'm pretty sure this is same size as the greatplanes viper. Are you able to remove v-tail. If so you can give me you're address and I will ship out box and return label via UPS.
AND JUST MAKE IT $100 for trouble.

    Larry,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The wedding went without a hitch. It was an outdoor ceremony and the weather here was absolutely perfect!

I wouldn't recommend removing the V-Tail. There is not a whole lot of structure in the tail and I would be afraid that "removing (i.e. breaking) it there would seriously compromise it. That isn't where I think the problem in shipping would be anyway. The wing is roughly 52" x 10", and the fuse, without motor and with the landing gear removed is 35" x 9". The minimum safe packaging I would think would be 56" x 12" x 14". I did not weigh the plane, but I am guessing the plane with box and packaging would be in the 12-14 pound range. I don't think the actual weight though would be an issue, as this size box gets into what is known as "dimensional weight" with most carriers. I know I used to have a deal with my company (now retired) where the UPS calculator they had did not take package dimensions, making shipping planes a lot more affordable. If you have a similar deal, then we can probably do something. Let me know either way.

    Regards,

    Stu

    P.S. Zip is 07726
