I like to describe this product as being the opposite of micro balloons. It is a very fine steel power (almost dust) that is very dense, and when mixed with the epoxy of your choice, it makes the mix very very heavy and much stronger. Works great in the nose of cowls, behind firewalls, in wing tips, or really, anywhere you need weight. It can be poured into forms and made into any shape you need if you want to make it removable. It drills very easy and can even be drilled and tapped. It also saws well, unlike lead. No more dangerous fumes from melting lead. This product is worked cool.
HOW DO I SHIP IT?
I use USPS small Priority flat rate boxes. it is very heavy, so this the only affordable way I have found to ship the stuff. Usually takes 2 to 3 days after I ship.
HOW MUCH IN A BOX?
I can get about 7lbs of powder per box. Usually enough for a couple planes, unless you are balancing
a giant scale WWI fighter.
HOW IS IT MIXED?
Mix the epoxy (15 to 20 minute) as you normally would, then pour in the powder. It mixes very well without balling up. Keep pouring powder in and mixing until the mix is a heavy paste. It will still self level in this state. If you get any where you don't want it, clean off with alcohol. It is hard to remove when cured, with steel in it.
Shipping is included.
