MERV motor selection.
would this motor be fine in a mini e revo VXL? sorry for asking so many questions. just getting all the info i need on the MERV.

NO, that motor is way too small for the MERV. This one is much better.

oh okay thanks. thats very good then! maybe i will get the 18MT instead. besides, i really don't have much money and the revo is very expensive for me right now. i have also been looking at the helion animus 18SC.

Before you convert the 18MT to brushless, get a steel spur, a slipper unit, steel differentials and steel outdrives. The stock drivetrain shreds when you give some throttle with brushless.

You can just Google 'RC18 steel spur" if you found one that isn't Integy (Integy = crap), Google 'RC18 slipper clutch', if you found one, Google 'RC18 steel differentials', if you found those, Google 'RC18 steel outdrives. And I forgot the dogbones, the stock ones are plastic, so also Google 'RC18 steel dogbones'.
