honestly the bandlands are a good tire to but these dirt paws are effing beast on dirt, grass, and gravel but they wear down fast on pavement and the bandlands wear fast on most terrian.
the badlands are much better on every surface. the dirt paws are better on just grass man. my tires show no signs of wear after a month already

I went down my shed yesterday and found 4 brand new mashers i bought ages ago for another truck but never used them.I fitted them to a spare set of wheels yesterday just to see what they look like on the xs and they look so much better than the stock tyres. It looks like a monster truck now.I will be very interested in how you get on with the gearing as i am useless at gearing.

Hey guys, i have a quick question... is there a way to adjust the brakes on this truck? they don't seem to be stopping the truck enough to where they would even be useful.

It might say in the manual. How to set the esc using the radio. But the $25 for the Castle Link is worth it.

Well i'll have to check the manual, but if there is nothing, I'll just have to wait a little bit the get the Castle Link. Besides who uses brakes? lol just hit the damn throttle! lol how much more performance can i get out of the flux vector pro system if i get the castle link?

Try with the end point....there is a "stck" in the battery case that you can use for changing them...probably you have it setup for less to nothing braking...

Hope it helps

Well with the stock tires, you will most likely not be able to do a standing backflip. Unless there is a light from above giving you more power lol. I have upgraded my tires to the Pro-Line badlands, and with a 7.4v 2s lipo, it will do a standing backflip. I usea 25c lipo. 25-30c lipo is a good C rating. This is a great little truck, and for the price, this is the best bang for yor buck right now in my opinion.

I will chekc on it tonight. I have not messed with anything on the truck like that so if that is the case, it needs to be changed.

cumminspower5.9, thanx a lot.
Pro-Line badlands w/ stock wheels? any parts that I need to pay more attention (upgrade) before doing backflip?
Thanx!

I put the badlands on HPI monster ss wheels. The black spoke design looks pretty nice on the truck. but they will fit on the stock rims. and i would say the one thing to upgrade are the shock ends, the small plastic pieces that go on the bottom of the shock shaft. replace those with RPM ones. the stock ones are a brittle plastic so they will break when you bring the back of the truck down hard. use these...http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBMSW&P=7
