Default Do I have a problem?

I have a rc18b fully upgraded and have a 8200kv motor in it now the problem is I set the pinion and spur gear mesh but when I push it backwards and forward it is really tight but when I turn on the transmitter then the car and push it backwards and forwards it moves nice and easy as is not tight. Why is this.

No, you're good. The motor just has resistance when it is turned off.
