Good 1/24th Scale that's available in the UK.

Looking for a smaller RC for more relaxed / indoor use / gentle bashing to compliment my Savage XS. Needs to be 4WD and the more durable / bouncy the better. Tending towards the Losi Micro Truggy with 2.4ghz + Lipo + Brushless upgrades, but am interested to hear other ideas. Redcat Sumo seems good BUT is not available in the UK.....so I need suggestions that ARE available in the UK. Cheers!

Yeh ive been looking for a similar thing. Just been looking at the losi micro truggy. It does look pretty smart, and not a bad price. I expect i will go for the carisma gt24b. Only £69 and is pretty rapid on a 2s lipo. Seems to perform quite well on carpet.

Rusty, yeah it is a bit specialist but there's enough proper RCs around that scale....I want one I can upgrade and repair rather than just sack it off when I break it...

Yes i think for the price you can't go wrong with the carisma's Plenty of spares available like you say. Brushless and can handle 2s. I was pretty much set on the buggy, but having had a look at the truggy im not so sure. That looks nice.

Was researching last night and it is definitely tempting, although I'm not touching it with a bargepole until there's clear shells available as the stock one looks like primary colour arse.
Losi Micro Truggy:
Car: £110
2.4ghz + brushless motor: £75
2 x 2s lipo: £25
= £ 210
Carisma 24TR Truggy:
Car: £70
2 x carbon fibre shock towers: £10
2 x alu oil shocks: £35
1 x pinion gear: £2
2 x 2s lipo: £22
= £ 140
(This is based on some recommended upgrades, I found this guy's channel useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc9_Ax2v_jk )

Okay.....so 1S is very fast for indoors, even with the trigger limiter on!
The transmitter is massive, the car is small, the battery and charger are tiny. The USB charger can't charge 2S batteries so I'll need to work on that.
It drives very smooth and quick on carpet. The bodyshell still looks like ass, I've got a clear one on back order. I don't really like the bodyshell being held on by velcro but it's a minor issue.
It's a hell of a lot of car for £70. And the spares don't seem that pricey.
