Question Trouble with Dromida On-Off Switch

I have a Dromida brushed truck and I think the On-Off switch might be going bad. The truck will occasionally just stop and when I pull the throttle trigger I get a set of ESC beeps. If I pick-up the truck and/or wiggle the switch, it will start working again.

I suppose I could just bypass the switch, but I kind of like having a switch. If I am going to replace the switch, I want to put in something better than the junky micro-slide that is in there now. I'm thinking of using a subminiature toggle switch.

Just to confirm, that switch is not in the path of the main battery leads, correct? If it is, then I would need a switch that could handle 20+ amps, right? I don't think I can find a really small submini switch that can handle that kind of current, can I?

Correct, the battery current does not flow through the switch. A normal submicro switch of your choice is an option for sure.
