Wltoys A979B - stud tires on snow
Had a great time out with the Wltoys A979B in the snow. The studded tires do help out a lot with the traction but it is still possible to slide around in the snow. Despite the small size of the truck it does handle very well in the snow.
I was a bit afraid that the heavier tires would stress the main gear and the differential much more then the stock setup but so far I have only managed to melt one plastic spur gear and that was after a lot of full throttle runs on the ice. So far I am super pleased with this setup.
