Have you guys found a solution to the soft/ binding front gearbox and rear end gear problems? The new version of the 12428 is now the 12427 because they give you metal gears. Unfortunately, the gear mesh is too tight and causing a lot of problems. In years past, we have taken out plastic gears and changed them for metal only to have them bind. In my way of thinking, they have done the swap for you in the 144001 and the 12427 without ever fixing the problem of the bind. Since yours is 1/14 scale, maybe the Losi 1/14 parts might work. I'm not sure about the 1/12 buggies.
