Nice and smooth - now did you encode it using Windows Movie Maker? What settings did you record at? The sound and video was nice and smooth, no delays.

The MiniT seemed to have a nice smooth hum as it passed by. nice!

ye movie maker i tried to make it as small as i could without loosing to much distortion and yes i left the sound the way it was wich uses the space as well it could have been smoother but then the size would have been outragous yanno

Well since I am knew to micro and this is the Mamba brushless motor thread I thought I would ask this question. I just bought a brushless motor and esc. The box says " The Mamba" and thats it. The esc is the Mamba 25 amp but that is all I know about it. The side of the box has the part # MMB25-CM2042 Performance Pkg. I was reading about 8000's and 5400's. I am asumming mine is a 2042. Is mine outdated or just lower in the line or what?

2042 is the lowest speed version no its not older it is just slower motor made good for track racing where top end isnt a factor and if u put a litho on there it would be better then any big block etc plus it would last alot longer with run times!

yeah get some lipos, 3 running at least 11 volts, program your esc, and you will be plenty happy.

You bought the lower end one not out dated. The one you bought is 4200RPM's per volt. The 5400 is 5400RPM's per volt and the 8000 is the one that I ordered and Irish has - it is 8000 RPM's per volt.

no.. it stands for something else, something volt, i dont think it was Kilo Volt but something else.... Kensil Volt or something.. i'll have to look it up somewhere, if it was the rpms it would be nuts!! Good theory though.

Actually I found it, you right, and I guess I am right, check it out..

Q. What are motor constants?
A. (Jim Bourke)

Motor constants are used to define the characteristics of a motor in quantifiable terms. Every motor can be accurately defined using exactly 3 motor constants: kv (rpm/volt), rm (terminal resistance), and io (no-load current). The kv constant is the rpms produced by a motor per volt applied. A 100% efficient motor could be described using this constant alone, but there are losses in the motor that make this impossible. If the kv is known, then we can determine another constant called kt. Kt is the torque produced per amp. kv and kt are proportional as shown: kt = 1355 / kv This relationship between kt and kv is a law for every motor. The rm constant is called the "terminal resistance" of the motor. This is the loss inside the motor due to the wiring in the armature. The rm constant represents a loss of power due to imperfect materials inside the motor. The final constant, io, is the no-load current. The motor table at the end of this faq shows several popular motors and their constants

I found this at http://www.ezonemag.com/pages/efaq.htm#motor5

I ran it with the elcheapo batteries today. This is my 1st micro and I find it will take me a lot of practice to get good at driving this thing. My 1/10 scale I can turn quick and just spin. Well this if you turn quick at high speeds it flips.[X(] Over all it is a lot of fun.
