great x-mod motor/spur combo!
i have been useing the stage two red motor with the yellow spur, i get good acceleration and good to speed but will i fri or burn up my x-mod???????????????????????

You are not supposed to mix motors with different colored gears, it may work for a bit, but you are running a 9 tooth pinion with a 10 tooth gear, they don't mesh correctly so you need to switch to a red gear unless you wanna break your car/motor.

The spurs can be interchanged with out problem on any radioshack supplied motor. If you run 7.2 v or higher you should watch the motor temp just in case. You shouldn't have a problem though.
