I'm going to use a mini servo its easyer for me to set up and I'm going to use the mini quake steering set up. As for the braces I have no idea what I'm going to do about them I think that there less importent then a servo set up.

Ok, I dont have photoshop on my new computer so the image is a little crude. Basicly it's just a piece of aluminum that connects to the part that connects the differential to the chassis. It is held in with a screw and a nut for quick removal.

RE: MINI MUGGY V.2
eh, might want to join those pieces or thicken them up, or add some vertical tubing with the chassis to brace, cause those probably won't be strong enough...
Making chassis supports would be hard though, you'd need a tap.
Get a hacksaw as well, won't cost much ($10) and practice first on some wood.

They could be any size, I didnt draw to scale, just to show my idea. However now that I see it a crossbrace could be added and would help alot.
If he did that it would practically be the stock chassis.
or add some vertical tubing with the chassis to brace

That looks good I look into it and is some servo tape einough to keep the servo down since its going to be hard to brace my hs-81mg.

Or you can use an Hitec 81mg, i do suggest you put little alloy support beams above the chassis... This will help the steaght tons! Then you wont bend your chassis and wont have to get a new one made. Just a question how much is sleepy23 chargeing you? I am thinking about somethin like this but not 1/18th and not muggy...

Dude, when you cut anything with a hacksaw, it has jagged edges, which need filing and sanding. It sounds like you don't know much about this stuff, so i suggest you practice on some thin wood or something first
Mitchell, CF is pretty damn expensive, so personally i'd just use plastic or wood. If you want a CF look, then some decals/stickers or a spray template wouldn't be bad, on plastic or metal.
