Default might buy a 18t

ok well me and my cousin have had the miniquake since they came out. We wanted to try somethin new so we decided on the rc18t factory. My question is would they be able to handle the mamba 6800 with a gp 1100 or a ip 1400 out of the box. I already priced everything and i dont have a problem with the price just we have never have or drove a 18t so we dont know if it will be able to handle the power. i would like to have an answer as soon as possible thanks.

i know i just wanna get the information as soon as possible because we want to order them. I know it can probably handle a 3 cell we just cant afford them right now so we gonna try and stick to the cheap stuff. but eventually we might get some.

If you are going to drop in mamba 6800's then you will want to upgrade to MIP CVD's and superdiffs. The only other thing that you will want to change are the gears. Drop down to between 10, 11, and 12 pinions with a 60 tooth spur.

You can get a ft 18t and put a mamba 6800 and a gp bat. It will run fine. The diffs will be fine also. You don't need MIP superdiffs or even MIP cvd's, but they are nice to have and allow you to upgrade the power more without upgrading the tranny.

I run a 7210kv motor and a gp bat, I run stock diffs and cvds. I don't even need the cvds, I just wanted them. My diffs work great and never strip.

I would go for the Factory. A Mamba Motor does require a different setup than a 280/300 Motor. With the RTR version you cannot change anything. All the tie rods are fixed. So you need to buy some adjustable ones. Not to forget the Motorplate. RTR=Plastic, Factory=Alloy. The stock dogbones are plastic too. They cannot handle the power of a Mamba for too long. Factory=Alloy. So if you do have Remote already take the Factory Team.

ACtually I still use the plastic mount and it's holding up fine. I would get the factory team one a be happy you did when you realize the small upgrades that you don't care about might actually matter sometime.

I didn't think the 65 fit stock, I know the HS56 HB does though.

The 56 and the 65 both require the ft ae mounts to fit.
