I just have a stock pro-pulse t-100, that I got today... lol Had to return two others that I bought from the Radioshack in the mall (Westfield) cuz' they were already used and didn't work. I could tell by the large scratch marks on the top of the body. You know, the kind you get when you're going near top speed and you flip it and the car slides for a good while. Needless to say I was pretty ticked off. lol Hopefully this one is new, and it works.

Edit:

Also, I was wondering if I would be able to use my Prolux Alpha-3 Quick Charger to charge the standard 1200mah 7.2v pro-pulse battery. The Prolux is supposed to be universal for all 7.2v/8.4v NiMH/NiCad batteries, but I don't want to mess anything up because this battery is really darn small, and the ones I usually charge are quite a good bit larger. lol

Dont waste your time at the hobby stoop circus, they have no idea what "racing" is, that whole place is a joke. You would be better off racing with one of the other hobby stores in toledo.

Hi guys & gals,

Starting to think about fall indoor racing again and I'm wondering what everyone thinks about keeping it at the same place, on Friday nights, etc... I would like to get your input so let me know.

Thanks,

Pat @ HSWest

Just wanted to say thanks to all who showed up Sunday at Owens Community College CDT Center! Once again, it was a blast. The Recoil bash was fun as hell, even though I trashed my third set of stock diffs! Need to get those ball diffs ordered.

Paul and I have been tossing around a point series schedule and we came up with the following-

Oct. 28 Free timed practice no points awarded.
Nov. 4 Free timed practice no points awarded.

Nov. 11
Nov. 18
Dec. 2
Jan. 6
Jan. 13
Jan. 20
Jan. 27

Series may be extended if there is a call for it. Plus a second spring series. It's all up to you!

Class fees will be $5.00 per car.

Classes will be:

4 wheel onroad stock
4 wheel Onroad modified
2 wheel offroad stock
4 wheel offroad stock
2 wheel offroad modified
2 wheel offroad modified
Monster truck stock
Micro T stock

If enough interest is shown we will add-

2 wheel onroad modified
Recoil stock and modified
Losi Slider stock and modified
Monster truck modified

and anything else the drivers show an interest in.

Now for the sales pitch-

We're not in this to get rich, hence the $5.00 entry fee, just trying to pay the rent and hopefully any future equipment purchases. Growing the hobby and have a little fun is the main goal so,we hope to get your support in this effort.
This is the largest 1/18th scale indoor track in the area, 30 ft.x45 ft. in RCP track alone with a driver stand big enough to accomadate 8 drivers and can be expanded if needed. We have plenty of different and unique jumps, with more on the way, and more than enough room and tables for the pit area.
A new track layout weekly. Driver input greatly appreciated.

We will have some pictures up in the next couple days and the web site is back in the works with a new web drsigner.

Once again, a BIG THANKS to all of you who have supported this track throughout the summer it's been a blast, so lets keep this thing going and get down to some racing!

Scott

We also had a bunch who came out to check it out and will be back next week.

[sm=bananahead.gif] Sorry but no one had a camera or video to capture the first night of the season. I'll have one for the Off-road next week and will post them for you all.

On-road Points are:

Tim Young 30 points

Slider Stock
Bob Falgout 30 points
Pat Falgout 24 points

Laura Willey 21 points
Bob Falgout 20 points

Biggest class was with the Stock Recoils and Associated 18R. Next week we start jumping things again with the Off-road. As always thanks to everyone that came out to race and helped out. We had a great time! We raced three qualifiers and the mains and were out of there before midnight.

See ya'll next week!

Default RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

We had a fine race on Oct. 10th for 18th Scale. We ran 7 classes of On-road and Off-road racing.

With this being our first race of the season the turnout was a little light but that made for more racing for the rest of us. We got in 3 rounds of qualifiers and Mains.

Our next race is scheduled for Friday night Oct. 17th and we hope you can come out and join us. We run on a 80'x36' Ozite carpet track.

Also our first Oval race of the season is scheduled for this Saturday Oct. 18th. We will run 1/18 Mini Sliders, 1/18 Mini Late Models, 1/12 Scale Oval, and 1/18 Truck/Buggy classes. Hope you can come out and race with us.
