Get rid of all metal-to-metal gear contacts, take wheelie bar off to save weight, learn how to drive, oh...and get binoculars-how are you going to see this thing racing around with a lipo on a track like that....Is HUGE
I might buy that body for 20 bucks if you want

Have you driven the car yet. I think you may be geared to low.
I copied a track layout from there once.
HEHE, similar to this. Is it still the current layout?

If I were you, I'd change the aluminum a-arms you have installed to the newly released RPM a-arms. They are going to be stronger, since they are RPM, and they put less stress on all other components, as well as being lighter.
The integy he was talking about was your rear hubs, but since those are hubs, I doubt even Integy can screw that up.

RE: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT MY TRACK SETUP?
Yea i use to run stock gearing and i used 1/10 tc tires and moved to 12t;60t recently and noticed that i lost alot of torque, like it takes a while to get to my top speed. and i guess for the track i will never have to hit top speed maybe i should gear down to like 14t make more sense that i should have more torque and thrust off the line. thanks for the suggestion i guess i never thought about that yet. 14t here i come!

HPI, the thing is, is in a brutal crash, those hingepins will bend because of the aluminum a-arms, which give no flex. I'd recommend selling those a-arms while they are new, because they retain much more value brand new, than they do when used.

Putting a 14t pinion would be gearing it up and that's what you should do for the stock tires since they are so small. Don't put a 14t pinion on if you are going to use 1/10 tires.

Well I didn't know you were using 1/10 tires. You should have 12t-60t gearing for that. That's about as geared down as you can make it and you need it for a tire with a big diameter.

RE: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT MY TRACK SETUP?
they actually are heavier, 1 set of 4 would weigh the same as about i know it seems bad but 3 or 4 complete sets of 4 of the stock tires. but no where near the weight of aluminum rims. they are about a half inch taller when the stock and mlst tire is compared side by side. i noticed you always recommend 55t spurs? why? i run 60's and like the speed gain

RE: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT MY TRACK SETUP?
I would add the new RPM arms for the 18t. Then it will be really strong and hold up to those jumps well. Other than that it's an awesome ride, and a very nice body.
