Get ready for all the flames, cuz' on this forum, you're most definitely going to get them. I support you 100% though, it's all about fun so who cares if you can't "execute a perfect 45 degree angle power slide combined with a supreme-tailwhip-720-backside-fakie-mc-twist" with your eyes blindfolded, singing the national anthem and eating a slice of pizza. As long as you have fun, more power to you!

RE: Mini-T Drifter
i'm not sure why everyone has such an issue with 2wd drifting. good real drift cars are almost exclusivley rear wheel
a short wheelbase will make it more difficult than in a larger car, but it should still be possible
hell the first time I fired up my XL5 rustler the pavement was wet and all that thing would do is drift.

Kool, the more support i get, the better! I just hope 1 1/2 inches thick isnt to big for the stock mini-t wheels. i plan on taking the tires off them, then supergluing and adjusting the pvc's.

Thanks nasher. I know it is possible to spin like crazy, but its gonna be hard as hell to give it a good drift. Post some tips here to help me out and try to be positive, unlike most of those people on that other thread!

I know it's a 4wd compared to 2wd but I like to go off roading and burn of the spikes, that way you're not wasting a set of pinspike then crank the wheel all the way over and use the throttle to control it.
P.S. I don't really drift I just slide.

RE: Mini-T Drifter
good luck! it's hard to drift rear wheel drive with little grip. you turn one direction but the vehicle will just go strait. i would try something with alittle more grip but less than normal tires.
once again good luck too!

I have to agree now that you can't drift a rwd car at this scale. The car in the video on the original thread is a very good attempt, probably the best you will ever see, but it is more of a power slide than a drift. You wouldn't have enough control to get it around any course other than a small figure 8.
Get a 4wd rc18 though and you can do it no problem.
hehe
