team losi did it again! you gotta see this!
they relesed a new sprint car! in 1/18th scale! i have always liked the look of sprint cars but there is no oval track around here. it has a new chassis and uses DSM tech. for the radio. here is the link http://www.teamlosi.com/Products/Def...rodID=LOSB0205
losi has been on a roll lately with new products.

It does look pretty good. I hope they release a pro or kit version though. I have no use for those electronics.

When you think about it all the latest releases have just been previous cars with little extra bits.
Nothing new honestly.

Thats not 1/18th, more like a 1/16th. First because of its stretched wheelbase to fit the 6 cells down the middle. Second, because its using Mini-T size tires which are normally "truck" size. Sprint cars usually use buggy size tires.

Its funny how people have an negative opinion before they even see it up close or see it race. Some like to hear themselves talk.Give
Losi a break. They are releasing something special in that noone else has made or would consider making.Who cares if it's not exactly true
to scale. When you see it up close, you won't care.Unless your that closeminded. To each their own.
The car is based off the Mini-t and its stretched almost 2 inches to give it a scale look. The mini T hop ups as far as suspension goes
is all upgradeable like the Mini-t.Same for the drive train. The car handles so well it's scary.I race at an oval here in Northern
california and the Losi engineer that designed this car had brought up about 6 cars for various racers including myself to try.We had
a blast to be honest. The cars now are almost as easily as fast as a nitro Sprint car on our track.About .1 sec off per lap.Anyways
I know it has boosted Dirt oval racing already even before it's release here locally.Everyone is out with their 1/18th Late models
and are eagerly awaiting the release of the Slider.I wish he would have left me with the car......[]

I'll take 2 please. I saw that and wondered why they haven't done something like this a while back. I personally like dirt oval racing....mini oval would be awesome. Problem is not too many tracks are going to build something for this size car.
